Having seen a MK2.5 with Lexus style rear lights the other day, off I went to Ebay in search of something similar. After trawled through the lists I opted for a pair of 'Lexus Style' rear lights and the next day they arrived on the doorstep.
Fitting requires removing two nuts and altering the tab on the indicator socket. There are three tabs on the Mk2 lamp and four tabs on the Mk2.5. Simple solution is to snip off one of the tabs. The bright lamps look excellent and are far clearer to see than the genuine article. They also make the car appear wider and closer to the ground. Worth the purchase? - definitely!
