Booted!

One of the options with the alarm is the ability to open the boot using the remote. As I had a spare actuator, off came the boot cards and on went the actuator and wiring - the result is now a 2 second press of the alarm key and the boot pops open! Lazy or what! The most difficult part of the install was routing the wire from the front of the car to the back - a good tip is to feed the wire down the channel used to feed the seat belt - saves drilling and the almost impossible act of catching hold of the wire. I used an extending 'grab' to reach the wire - not easy but can be done.
